A/N: Psst! Hey! I know this kinda goes without saying, because it's in the title, but you cut in this! So. Yeah! I didn't want to trigger any of you beautiful people. Don't be hurting yourself, baby. I love you!

L (Lawliet):

You sighed a bit, chewing on your thumb as you blankly stared at the computer screen in front of you. Your baggy, long-sleeved, (f/c) shirt hung on your (s/c) frame, your (e/c) eyes sporting dark circles under them. Your hair was only a bit messy, considering you hadn’t slept to mess it up. You tore your attention from the security footage to look at the man beside you. L was sitting in his usual strange position, looking a lot like you did. Dark circles under his eyes, messy hair, baggy clothes. You two could pass as twins. Well, if it weren’t for his dark, emotionless eyes, you could pass as twins. You ran a hand through your (h/l), (h/c) hair, sighing again. You reached for your glass of tea next to the computer monitor. Your sleeve slightly rode up a bit, unaware that L’s eyes trained on your arm for half a second before returning to the screen. Holding your cup with two hands, like you always did, you looked back at the screens. You didn’t know why you were still focusing on Light Yagami’s behavior. He didn’t seem to be Kira. You just sipped your tea. You didn’t like to question L. He was your superior after all. You took another long drink from your tea. You savored the way the warm liquid slid down your throat. You reached out an arm and placed the cup back on its tray. Just as you were about to retrieve said limb to chew on your nails, L’s hand shot out like a snake attacking. His fingers wrapped around your wrist tightly, making you giving a small noise of surprise. You looked up to see that his intense gaze was focused on you. You could feel your sleeve riding up a bit. That wasn’t good.

“Ryuzaki, what are you..?”

You let your words trail off as his eyes fell to your arm. With his free hand, he slowly slid up your (f/c) sleeve to reveal what you had hidden from him for so long. Your scars. Yes, you cut yourself. It obviously wasn’t for attention. You hated attention being drawn toward you. It was because you were putting your life in danger every day. Because your family could be killed any second. Because someone out there was playing God. Because it wasn’t fair that you got to sit around and be right as rain while people were dying. You could feel your eyes get a bit watery as he traced the scars with his index finger. Some were new, only just scarring over, and some were a good year old. You watched as L traced each one with both his finger and his eyes, his gaze meeting yours again.

“Why do you insist on harming yourself..?”

His voice was quiet and full of…emotion? That was new. You swallowed roughly, trying to find the right words. However, your mind was drawing a blank. You just shook your head, cursing the single tear that fell down your cheek. L wiped it away before bringing your arm to his face. He lightly began to kiss each scar, making a tiny smile cross your lips for no reason at all. Once he finished kissing away the pain of each one, he met your (e/c) orbs.

“May I offer a trade, (y/n)?”

You looked at him curiously, staying silent. You were afraid of your voice breaking.

“I will give you my sweets for your blade...”

You were a bit surprised. Did L really care about you so much to give you his sweets? You simply nodded, getting up to go find the ever so sharp blade you slid across your soft skin. Well, the ever so sharp blade that you would never use again.

Light (Kira):

You silently sat in the living room of the Yagami household. Sayu and her mother were gone shopping, Light’s father at work. Light was at one of his late classes at the university. You had been dating Light for about a month now, and his family loved you. Sayu thought you were the prettiest girl in the world. Her and Light’s mother loved when you helped cook, and their father thought you were great for Light. Everything was good for you. Well, except the fact that you were dating Kira. You knew about Light’s little ‘secret.’ He had told you when he had figured he could trust you. While you didn’t completely approve that he was trying to play God, you dealt with it as best as you could. Your attention was torn from playing with the sleeves on your over-sized (f/c) jumper as the door opened. Light shot you a smile, you returning it as he shut the door. You watched him shrug off his jacket, untucking his button-up shirt before removing his tie.

“How was class?”

He gave a small shrug, letting you grab his hand as you followed him up the stairs to his room. He shut the door behind the two of you, placing a short and gentle kiss on your lips. The kind that made you smile. You sat on his desk, watching as he removed the Death Note from its special hiding place in the bottom of a drawer. You smile turned to a frown, nervously playing with your fingers.

“Do you have to do that when I’m around?”

He just sighed a bit, opening the book to a fresh page.

“(Y/n), if we’re going to stay together, I’d rather have us stay together in a good world. Now, will you hand me that pen?”

You gave a small whine, doing as you were told. You reached behind you and grabbed a pen from his little box. You held it out to him, returning the smile he gave you. He went to take the pen, grabbing your wrist tightly. You gave a small yelp of surprise, letting the pen hit the floor as you tried to wriggle your hand away.

“Light, let go! What are you doing?!”

You finally yanked your wrist from his grip, lightly rubbing where it was now red. Light gave you a serious look, making you know that he was upset.

“What are you hiding from me, (y/n)?”

A look of panic crossed your features. He was good.

“N-Nothing..!”

You heard him growl a bit. Light wasn’t happy. He grabbed your wrist again, more forcefully.

“Don’t lie to me!”

He tore your sleeve away from your (s/c) skin. He expected to see some sort of microphone or writing. It wasn’t at all. It was scars. Light’s face softened in half a second, realization hitting him like a brick to the face. You could feel tears prick at your eyes. He now knew your little secret. His gaze met yours, shock and a silent apology in his brown orbs.

“(Y/n)… Why..?”

You just shook your head. You boyfriend was risking his life to make the world a better place. Why was it fair for you to be just fine and perfect? Light sighed a bit, moving his hand to grasp your own. You stared at him for a long moment, glancing at where your fingers were intertwined.

“If you promise to never hurt yourself again, I’ll kill fewer criminals and never do it around you.”

You let your gaze linger on his, rather shocked yourself.

“R-Really..? Okay… I promise…”

Light shook his head a bit, making you rather confused.

“A promise isn’t good enough.”

He held out his free hand, making your gaze fall on it.

“I want the blade.”

You glanced at him before nodding a bit, slowly getting up to dig it from its hiding place. Maybe you could play your part in making the world a better place.

Mello (Mihael):

You lie on the couch in Mello’s hideout, watching as he ate his chocolate. You had your own piece, it held between your lips. You stuffed the small piece into your mouth, savoring its delicious sweetness before you chewed and swallowed. Mello glanced at you with a smirk. He knew that was your last piece. You reached for the chocolate bar in his hand, hoping the sleeves of the leather jacket that you stole from him wouldn’t ride up. Mello, wanting to tease, lifted the chocolate out of your reach when your fingertips brushed it. You couldn’t help but smile as you playfully smacked him on the arm, reaching for the dessert again. He pulled it away. This continued until the candy was held above Mello’s head, him smirking in amusement as you desperately reached for it. You were softly giggling, practically in his lap as you reached as high as you could.

“Mello! Give it!”

He laughed at your pleads, barely lowering the chocolate. You got your around it, smiling in triumph. However, just when you received your reward, Mello saw it. Your arm. Your (s/c), bare arm. That was covered in scars. You scooted back on the couch, happily nomming on the chocolate. You didn’t even notice Mello’s slightly shocked frown. He knocked the candy bar away, ignoring your protests as he grabbed your wrist and shoved the sleeve of the jacket up. You gave a light gasp, lightly trying to pull your limb away. Mello just tightened his grip, giving you an almost angry look.

“What the Hell is this?”

You gave a small shrug, avoiding his intense stare.

“Why didn’t you say anything, (y/n)?”

Again, you shrugged. You tried to find the right words, fighting the tears that wanted to spill.

“I thought you would call me weak…”

Mello just stared at you, scoffing a bit before shaking his head.

“You really are an idiot.”

You met his blue gaze, your (e/c) irises clouded in hurt. Why would he say that? You were about to shove him off before he placed a kiss to your wrist. A gentle one.

“You must be pretty damn stupid to think I don’t care about you enough to call you weak for cutting yourself.”

You couldn’t help but giggle, watching his smirk find his lips. He laid you back on the couch, kissing and nipping at your scars.

“When…I’m done…with…you-”

You giggled still as he spoke between the kisses placed on your scars.

“-I want…your…blade.”

He finally planted a kiss on your lips, still smug as ever.

“Understood, chère?”

You just nodded, watching as he placed another kiss on your pink lips.

“Good. And, if you ever hurt yourself again, you’ll have to deal with me.”

You just smiled warmly, wrapping your arms around his neck and pulling him in for a warm embrace.

“I promise, Mello…”

He just smirked, placing a firm kiss to your neck.

“You better. Now, where were we?”

You couldn’t help but let out a moan as he nipped the sweet spot of your neck.

Near (Nate):

You sat at the SPK headquarters, the room you sat in empty. Save for Near. You watched the albino play with his toys, taking robots and planes and smashing them together. He was adorable. You smiled as you climbed down from your chair, socks silencing your footsteps. The only thing heard was the rustle of your (f/c) pajamas. You sat next to Near, picking up a plane without its wings. He was rough on toys. You simply set it back down, watching as he crashed two robots against each other, sending a few pieces flying. You were planning on getting up to get a box of toys for yourself before he went still and silent.

“(Y/n)?”

You fell still yourself, turning to see him gazing at you intently. He had a small strand of his snowy hair wrapped around his finger. As always.

“Yes, Near?”

You watched him dig in his toy box with his free hand, his gaze never leaving yours. He pulled a small blade from the bottom, a gasp escaping your lips. That was your blade.

“May I ask why you have this?”

You swallowed roughly. Okay. Don’t panic. You could get out of this.

“I use it for cutting things, of course.”

You mentally cursed your voice for shaking, watching as he rolled the metal between his fingers.

“By things, you mean yourself?”

You were in shock. How did he know? Nobody ever figured out you cut yourself. Of course, Near wasn’t nobody. He crawled over to where you sat, dropping the blade to gently take your wrist. You let him, finding no use in struggling. He lightly and swiftly lifted up your pajama shirt’s sleeve, revealing the scars you hid. He lightly traced them with his fingers, making you wince. You hated people even knowing about them.

“(Y/n)… Why do you do this..?”

You tried to find the best reason you could, but there were too many. Kira was out there. L. Mello was on yours and Near’s trail. The world was going to Hell. What reason did you need? You met the man’s gaze, tears filling your eyes. You hated yourself for it. Near placed a finger under your chin, keeping you from looking away.

“You are perfect, (y/n). Flawless. Please don’t hurt yourself anymore.”

You were about to say something before he picked up the blade from the cold floor, holding it between his fingers.

“I will trade you my toys for this blade. I will give you anything you wish. I just need to know that you cannot harm yourself.”

You were shocked. Near would give up his toys? For you? All because he didn’t want you to hurt yourself? You didn’t know what to say. So, you hugged him instead. You seemed to take the sheep look-alike off guard, him waiting a moment to hug you back.

“Keep the blade, Near… I promise I won’t hurt myself… For you…”

You hugged him tightly, unaware of the small smile that grazed his lips. You really and truthfully meant it, too.

Matt (Mail): (I’m sorry it’s so short! I’m struggling to stay awake.)

You giggled as you passed Matt up in yet another game of Mario Kart. He mashed some buttons to try and hit you with a green shell, but failed. Mello was out, so you were having a lazy day of video games with your lovely boyfriend. With a pair of his grey striped boxers and a large, (f/c) off-the-shoulder sweater, you were more comfortable than ever. You finished the lap in first place, cheering yourself on as Matt finished in second. Again. You raised your arms high, not really thinking, (s/f/c) controller held in one hand.

“I win!”

He couldn’t help but laugh. You were so silly and childish. And adorable. However, his smile was short lived as your sleeve of your sweater rolled down your arm. Rolled down your arm and revealed scars. You were so caught up in your victory, you didn’t even notice. Until he lightly reached up to take your wrist, shoving the fabric away. Your smile fell just as quick, your face flushing as he traced the scars with his index finger. He looked so hurt, and it mirrored how you felt. He said nothing. Just staring at the scars behind his goggles. It seemed like an eternity until he looked up at you. Just enough time for tears to prick at your eyes. He suddenly let go of your wrist, your heart falling to your feet. He hated you now. He thought you were weak. However, Matt didn’t insult you or give a judgmental look. He started to gather his games in a large pile, moving frantically. He suddenly shoved them all over to you, taking your hand and holding it tightly.

“Take them. Take the TV. I don’t care. Just give me the blade, (y/n). Please.”

You were shocked. Take the TV? Take the video games? Did those words really just leave Matt’s mouth? You were amazed. He said that just so you would quit hurting yourself. Without warning, you flung yourself to him, arms going around his middle. His back hit the floor, rather surprised at the sudden gesture. He slowly wrapped his arms around you, burying a hand in your (h/c) locks.

“I love you so much…”

He smiled as you nuzzled your face into his neck. You would be okay. Everything would be okay.
An imagine of the boys in Death Note finding out you cut yourself. It includes L, Light, Mello and Near! Yay! Matt isn't in there because I haven't met him in the manga yet, but I will try to add him when I do find the lovely gamer.

I love you!

Update: I added Matt like I promised! Enjoy!
